Pool is in the rear of the house. The building is 204 X 36 with 14 foot ceilings and an upstairs on the front part of building the other 2 sections have 10 foot ceilings. The second section is all open floor space. The third part of the building was 6 offices, kitchenette with lunch room, conference room, waiting room and bathroom. last year we gutted it and only kept 1 office and the bathroom.
I do hot rod restoration and Offshore boat custom rigging. I also build custom engines this is the latest addition to the shop about 6 months ago.

Jeebus that's huge! I can't even imagine having that kind of space....very nice.

Looking at the pics from when you bought it 5 years ago, it looks like a foreclosure judging by the yard/pool condition. Or were the POs just that bad?

It was a foreclosure property that had been vacant for about 3 years.

My daughters are 8 and 9 and in the 5 years that we have been here they have learned to out swim fish. The former owner did electrical design for the big three on prototype and concept vehicles, he was a young man that in short order became an international ******* and lost everything. I am located in SE Michigan in Monroe county about 2 miles from lake Erie. Here are some more current pics.

Brian - Nice DTS dyno. How long have you had it?

I bought the DTS dyno 8 years ago but my last place would not accommodate it so that was the main reason for this move. With all the work the property needed it took 4 1/2 more years to get it operational... of coarse after 8 years all the computer and electronics were obsolete and had to be replaced and upgraded. I have been using now for about 6 months.

wow, I can't even come up with something exaggerated enough to explain what i would do for a setup like that. I would even consider Michigan for that setup!

Very nice! Do you do your own fiberglass work too?

Yes I do glass, gel and paint work, I had to replace the transom and the stringers because of water damage. We decided to with a 5 stringer system rather than the 4 that was used originally so we could use motor plates instead of the standard Mercury mounts. We also moved the engines in 1 inch and up 1 3/4 inches for more speed. I rebuilt his 516 CU engines and they made 620 HP with 600 TQ and that was not enough so he had me build custom 572's that are making 750 HP and 720 TQ. From there we had to do drives that would handle the added HP and that again snowballed into complete IMCO transom assemblies with 4 ram steering, extension boxes, SCX uppers with 2 inch shorty lowers. Now the installing, rewiring, relocating and total re-rigging is underway. I sent the tabs out to have them powder coated to match the drives (silver/gray) and I am redesigning the swim platform and having it powder coated the same silver/gray.
