I was asked to post some pictures of my rescue 150. It's not perfect and still needs the motor installed but I like it. Rebuilt the chuck today and reinstalled it. I took my artistic license on the paint job with the black. Not sure what year it is as the tag is missing. Glad to be here and hope to share more in the future.

Regarding the date of manufacture... there should be a date code on the motor badge if it's Craftsman.

I'm not sure how to read that. It's a Craftsman motor. Here's the badge. Kind of hard to see it good.

The date code is in the bottom left corner "L6697" (I think that's an L.) If "L", that's November 1966. I'm not sure what the "97" means.

Yes, but because drill presses could be purchased without motors, the date code on the motor is only circumstantial evidence. It's usually strong circumstantial evidence though.

There are part numbers cast onto the inside and underside of the cast iron parts. If they end in -113, it's Emerson, if -103, King-Seeley.

I knew they were sold without motors. I'll check the castings tomorrow. Thanks again
