Dad got his new skid loader parked in the shop now and i moved some stuff around moved the trailer out. Also finished the hallway

Thank you I will have to mention it to the wife for Fall pictures this year I get told i am a old man already by my wife I am 36 (because I talk about the weather, the driveway gravel and such)

Old man at 36..... don't know about that, but your priorities are on point with family at the top of the list. Things like the weather and driveway gravel are important also, keep eating away on the shop because it is progressing nicely. Did you ever buy the wife her new car that was mentioned with the new house and shop ?

Almost 60 is starting to be in old man territory

yea I know its not old but i guess more dad material. The Day after we came back from the ER they called and they said it came in 2022 Toyota highlander she was shocked I pulled it off. (surprising her) I am definitely plugging away at the shop
i am thinking about a enclosed curly slide for the kids

Got the Double Unistrut up for the overhead hoist in the machine shop. I started moving around my toolboxes to stage them where i think they should be and such. and the last bit of white metal i had on hand went up in the center for celling

got one of the Trolley Unistrut up haven't mounted a hoist up yet but i did start mounting some lights up

you may want to add another set of slide to the unistrut trolley. My dad did a similar thing to hang photo lights from and it had issues with twisting when pulling and would get stuck.

I have been running into the same issue as well already. I have already thought of the same idea to fix it. How far apart did space them?

I got the power ran, finished putting up the lights, and continued to put up the ceiling metal

I Ran the Electrical for the air Compressors and got 1 hose reel mounted with my 2 helpers

More air lines and reels installed. Also got time to finally put in a sewer vent i didn't want to cut a hole in my roof and risk a leak

I just stumbled on your thread today and finished reading from the beginning. I was doing fine and enjoyed seeing a couple of pics of what looked like a little girl standing on a wall being framed and it brought back fond memories of my daughter and a project about that same age. Then I got to the part when you shared what was going on, my heart sunk and I teared up. (My daughter is older than you and your wife) you're not even close to old territory yet. It was uplifting to read all went well and she was doing good and I enjoyed the pics of the family. God is good! I pray you are all still doing well. I love your shop and enjoyed very much following the build. I'm sure sorry that first contractor pulled that on you, but the second one sure came through for you. Kudos to you for doing this while all the other things going on in your life and to your wife and family for staying strong and helping one another through this challenging time.

Thanks God has been good to us lately and i hope it never changes again first pic was March 1st she had her port removed. Second pic was March 3rd was her birthday party and Fast Fwd to May 13 she had her 3 month scan and checkup and doing great and going strong. they are my greatest achievement in life for sure and My never ending project the Make-a-wish had a party for her and other kids so that was different to see we were not alone during our journey. and she now has a kitten and obsessed with him last pic is a love seat me and the kids picked up at the dump they like it better than the chairs in the shop.

I really like the one where it appears she in the hospital and has the mask on. You can almost see her big grin right through the mask and she that twinkle in her eye. My old Electric pressure washer died so i found this one to replace it. 100ft on a retractable reel all built in. My dad loves it too.

So I haven't posted in a while but I had not been very motivated till this time home. Friend of mine Works at a speed shop and gave me the downlow on a spray booth the owner was wanting rid of. So I got some pics and it would work well for my shop. So i went and got it and did some modifications to my powder coating oven

Yea slowly but surely I am. Family is doing great. It amazes me how much and fast Shelby's hair has grown since 1st of 2022 till the end. Kids had a Great Christmas. Shelby got her ears pierced while I was home. But when they had to drop me off for work it broke my heart they were so upset. We played a lot of Mario party while i was home.

So I have had my toolbox paid off for several years now. And I am like a crack head when it comes to the tool truck. So the wife was good with me building on my current setup. I ordered a new top chest (same model as the bottom) and new locker. After waiting almost 8 months it finally came in. Then ran into a problem since the current setup had a stainless top and the new setup would not allow the holes to line up bolting it all together the stainless top was removed. I have had the top for well over a decade and didn't want to trade it back in on the truck. So I improvised with a spare Sink cabinet that was gave to me painted it black and change the knobs and added the stainless top and now I have another work bench.

When we were building our house all of my Tools were in storage. I picked up a small Snap-On Roll cart and added a stainless top. When the shop was built I moved it to the shop. Fast-forward to Current. The old top chest just happen to be the same model as the roll cart. I also had to remove the Stainless top to bolt the other set together. But now having my big box in the toolroom/ machine shop I have a smaller box setup to have next to whatever I am working on, save me some walking. Also Since the cabinet came in a nice bot the kids had to have a play booth.

Thats a lot of toolboxes...................I'm jealous and I have a few.
