Those fabricated wheels look much more durable than a "bigwheel" style wheel.

Very nice video on how to build them also. Enjoyed it a lot.

Did you glue the MDF to the inside of the PVC? Just curious what is stopping the MDF from moving while you are drifting.

You should probably cut those axles down a few inches so they dont impale you if you crash.

Cool. Looks good. Only thing I would have done differently. Is got some bearings out of skateboard wheels which are 608zz (cheap) and put some of them in the rear wheels..

Yeah man you should have Bearings in those rear wheels. That Axle...err...I mean All-thread isn't going to take much speed to get glowing red hot. Especially with the weight of a person sitting on it. The LEAST you need is some Skateboard Wheel Bearings as stated above. You have a good frame. Why not do it right and build a Rear Axle?

Get some Steel Tubing and some larger Allthread or preferably round stock. Take the ID of the Steel Tubing and the OD of the Allthread (you might want to go a touch larger than what you have shown) and find yourself some Bearings. Weld some stops in the end of the Steel Tubing, stick the Bearings in and weld a stop on the other side. Do this for each end of the Steel Tubing then run your Rod through. Which you should really be using Round Steel Stock with only the Ends threaded with just enough room for a Lock Nut or Nut with a Jam Nut to lock it in place. You really need a larger Axle with the Wheels being that wide though. There will be a lot of force exerted on that little piece of Allthread at the outer edge of the Wheel.

Good luck man!
