An hour or two ago, I was handling that wrench on the left. I also have a smaller one that looks identical. They have been sitting in my toolbox for years. I read a thread about plomb tools on here and went to look at my few old tools. I don't think I have any plomb but I have an old proto punch, starret punch, small snap on needle nose, true value wood handle screwdriver, and those wrenches.

The tools were going to be thrown out.......................by my dad. They belonged to his dad. I never met my grandfather as he died a few years before I was born. He was born in 1900 and was a tool and die maker for Lockheed and also for some other aircraft companies near Los Angeles. He worked on parts and tools for an airplane called the starlifter, IIRC. My dad said he mentioned technology that didn't become known to the public for about another 10 years. It seems they worked on some pretty advanced stuff.

I am a sentimental person. I was also named after my grandfather, so I got his first name as my middle name. It turns out that I am similar to how the family remembered him. He owned an auto shop in Beaver City, Utah and then moved to SoCal before my dad was born in the 50's.

I couldn't just let those tools be thrown out. I use the punches and the snap on needle nose are in my tech bag that I keep in my truck and use everyday for repairing equipment for our business. The wrenches don't get used. I should probably leave the snap on pliers at home, but I like to use them once in a while for holding wires while I solder them. Tools are meant to be used. All of my grandfather's tools had three or four little hash marks in them, probably made with a hack saw. It is easy to tell which ones were his. My dad still has other tools that belonged to my grandfather, as well.

I will post some pics tomorrow.

Big wrench, TW = T. Williams
Medium wrench, HM = Honda Motor ( as you suggested, Honda motorcycle?).
