Hi All,
My 24x36 building is being built as I type. Hoping to pick up all my electrical supplies this week. Hoping to run a 100amp sub panel from my 200a main panel. Panel to panel will be ~60ft. 40ft from my main panel through the crawl space, 20 feet to the building. I used a load calculation spreadsheet I found online and honestly, I will be over my 200a service at full tilt because we have electric everything in this house. Eventually, we are upgrading to gas appliances/heat (next summer) and that will solve that problem. Here is my plan.
-90a breaker in the main panel.
-Run 2-2-2-4 SER aluminum jacketed cable through the crawl space. Can I fasten the cable to the bottom of the floor joists? Thinking of using this.

-Transition to 2-2-2-4 MHF. What size J box should I get?
-LB at house into 2" conduit to the building. Entering building under slab.
Of course, 2 8' grounding rods, aluminum antioxidant on the connections, yada yada yada. I'm sure i'll run into many snags along the way of things I didn't plan for. My first major challenge is figuring out how to get the cable from the box into the crawl space. Here is a picture of my main panel.
