A few years back i was working on a job ( the largest underground parking garage in the US) and i noticed some damaged stainless elevator doors in a pile of garbage. I got a hold of the elevator company's super and he had his guys take them out to my truck. They are heavy, stainless on one side and one edge, steel backed and solid. I also had some 2x2x1/4 tube steel around the house, also got from a job site. I bought 8 non marking, locking castors, and some paint. Then built these. They are completely welded together, only the castors are bolted. Now i didn't take pictures when i built them (pre GJ years), but cleaned them off today and decided to share. The "doors are 25" wide by 8'-1/2" long. There is also a 2x2 tube running right down the center under the door panel. these are very stout heavy benches and they roll so nice.
