Really nice job. I wish I could embrace such beautiful floors, but finding a dropped part is a nightmare. If it's a non working shop, just bling, that is one of the best I've seen, along with the random race deck one posted recently.

Your floor looks great. I'm also coming up on a year since I epoxed my garage floor and it still looks great as well, very pleased with the way it turned it out and how easy it is to keep clean.

I epoxied my floor many many years ago. I prepped carefully. But the epoxy lifted under the tires of my car. Very possible they were warm when I parked. Happened with 3 months of the painting.

Is this common? Are the new paints better? They have to be. At the factory where I work, we wheel around all kinds of stuff, drive fork lifts and the new gray paint still looks new after years. But nothing really stands still either. Thoughts?

A good combination of proper prep and quality material create strong defenses against any hot-tire lift.

Floor should be profiled correctly and this is best done using a diamond grinding tool, shot-blaster, etc...

Acid etching is an option too. However, you need to make sure it did the job and that you neutralized it correctly
