Just thought I'd write a little review after having my 2300 sq./ft epoxycoat floor down for one year.
I have not abused the floor or have i babied it.
Actually i just mop it for the first time this week. (only because the wife said "you should be a ashamed of yourself....look at this place")
It has not lifted anywhere that I can see and after mopping it it still has a nice shine (I did only one coat and did not apply the clear)
It has been thru many oil changes and a few brake jobs and two transmission changes all of which I have managed to spill any available fluid that goes along with those jobs and it has cleaned up well.
it does seem to mar easy, like if you drag a sheet of plywood, lifting one end and letting the other end drag on the floor.....it will leave a mark. so will sliding a wooden "A" ladder on the floor will do the same.
The one thing I would do would be to use smaller application squares than they reccommend. If I remember right the instructions said 128 sq ft per mix, If I did it again I would go 100 sq ft. especially if you use a light color (I use biege). I did half my floor at the 128 per mix and have some spots that when dry are a bit thin. On the second half i did 110 sq/ft per mix and it covered a lot better.........If you have a light color I think 100 sq/ft per mix would be just right.
all in all I'm very pleased with it and would reccommend it.
