Hello Members,
I happened to stumble upon this site while looking at 1935 British phone booth photos and liked the format of the forum and joined.
The farm garage is 30'W x 50'L so about 1500 sq. ft. drive-thru 12' x 14' doors each end and side entrance door. Built in storage cabinets with storage loft above on half of one side which I will build into an enclosed office/lounge. The previous owner of the home used the garage to park his RV and motorcycle/toys inside. Has hook ups and even satellite cable/internet. Currently has 3 vehicles stored and a lot of junk. I live about 1.2 hour from the garage but will be moving here about the end of 2023. Then I can start on DIY projects again. It's located on a 9 acre farm, I will be running power off of existing solar (2 x 40panel banks) but adding a battery storage bank and vehicle charger tho I do not have one yet I probably will have a EV in the future, 120/240 2/3 phase already installed. Current lighting is 2X metal halide flood but will convert to full LED. Full air and 2 post lift hopefully in it's future.
I do a little bit of everything from car audio, fiberglass work on boats and vehicles, body/paint and even some welding. My life has been mainly farm,automotive and construction based work for the last 35+ years and will probably never stop doing my own maintenance or aftermarket part installations.
Currently the garage is packed with items which need to be sorted, even my 40' HC container is filled up since have started to move out of the home 60 miles away from here, soon to be the part time home. Hope to keep this updated.
