I got this MAC 3/8 spinner handle or as Mac lables them a locking handled 3/8 extension.
It is so damn handy you can stick a 3/8 ratchet in the end and break the fastener loose.
The universal wobble joint which is impact rated but I only use it on hand tools. Is smooth operating and helps with tune ups. I really think everyone should have these tools in there arsenal.
What's everyone's favorite tool combo?

Might have been my thread. I got momentarily excited as I thought the OP found an impacting spinner handle. Even though those spinner handles aren’t impacting they do look nice I have to say.

Does it have to be a tag team? Can it be a basketball team?

Was really liking the setup below this weekend. My 6th time replacing 16 spark plugs on a Mercedes M113 went the smoothest with this setup. Allowed me to work the ratchet above the engine while snaking the spark plug socket around and under the valve covers. Really cut the time down.

Milwaukee 3/8 brushed ratchet
+
Proto 6 inch extension (love the knurling)
+
Williams swivel
+
Carlyle short extension
+
Duralast magnetic spark plug socket

You could easily make your own impact grade spinner handle. Take a impact grade extension and drill a screwdriver handle threw the center and slide the handle on the extension and boom a impact grade spinner handle.
The MAC one pictured is a dream to use and only $35 ish vs the alomost $74 for the Snappy version. Plus MAC tools offers 3 sizes the 6inch as shown, 10 inch (I also own and use randomly) and a I think 18inch which I do not own. But the locking part helps with spark plug replacement as well as just holding what ever socket on tightly. :rocker:

I like your baseball team lol. I however don't particularly care for the universal joint type you have pictured. I own a few of them and yes there handy but damn they can rip some skin if your not careful. I mainly use them when I am doing brake jobs and need the get in at a weird angle. That and the impact grade wobble universal joint type I got is still new to me (I just discovered it) but damn I am sold. I think I will be getting more of these before to long I am looking at the Williams wobble universal joint.

I however do see how this set up would be a life saver. I approve!!!!!!

Yep am going to need to go custom to fulfill my desire for an 3/8 impact spinner handle. Haven’t done it yet. Am waiting for a good donor screwdriver. Do you happen to know what Mac shipping costs are?

Which model number Snap-On are you talking about?

The 6" Mac X6EDLA is made overseas and costs $42.
The 5 15/16" Snap-On F40B is made in the USA and costs $39.

https://www.mactools.com/en-us/Ratc...EDLA/3-8-Drive-Locking-Hand-Drive-Extension-6

https://shop.snapon.com/product/Han...5-15/16"-Hard-Handle-Stubby-Shank-Driver/F40B

SGF50CG this is the same size as the 10inch MAC one I believe.
The Stubby one you found is smaller then the 6inch MAc one I am had mentioned and shown. Not by much and yes it is Made in america where MAC isn't but the quality is there on the MAC ones at least. I do want to get the Snapon models but I got a killer deal on the MAC ones only reason I have them instead of the Snapon.

I don't think the SGF50CG or F40B have a female end. The SGF50CG has a hex on the shaft. The F50CSA has a female end but it's discontinued.

I noticed the locking mechanism on the Mac spinner handles looks similar to the Gearwrench locking extension. Even have the same color.

SGF50CG has the female end only Snapon uses a 1/2 drive to at the female end and 3/8 for the male end of it.

It's been a while since I looked at it so I might be mistaken. I remember there being a 1/2 inch hex on the shaft (up next to the handle) but I don't recall it having a 1/2" female end. Maybe I forgot. The drive end is 3/8".

Here's a photo of the 1/2" hex on the shaft.
