Witte Maxxpro Nature. O.k. I am a screwdriver diva. I've used and enjoyed snap on (both hard handle and Instincts), I really enjoy my older facom's, I've also used the gamut felo, wera, wiha, craftsman, etc...

I like other screwdrivers but I have fallen in love with these. I bought them for unique factor with an amazon gift card and now they are my go to for everything. The cork gives a great feel, wicks moisture (I've got sweaty hands) the grip is designed to not roll away, the handle wipes clean easy, the tips are magnificent, they look great, and they are oddball enough for me to know when someone else is walking away with my tools :lol_hitti. I can't praise these enough they keep impressing me every time I use them. Such a simple tool that is done wrong all to often.

Now a disclaimer, I work in aviation where corrosion is generally dealt with before it becomes a major issue, when it is I use my facom's or snap ons with the hex bolster to help break them, so you auto guys may not have the same love affair I have with these. Guys or gals with smaller hands may not like the bulk of handle, but I wear a medium mechanix glove so my hands aren't too large. I'm also only a week into these, but I have used Matco's wittes for the last 2 years in school. I liked the feel but not the microfiber on the grips.

Enough with the nonsense here are some pics, sorry I took them in bathroom I was putting a new doorknob on these will go back in the work box tomorrow.

so the grips are cork? do you think they'll gouge easily or are they pretty solid? Also, do you think they'd soak up oil and grease? I have the matco's, wouldn't trade em for anything! I work in a pretty dirty environment though and those grips work the best for me so far.

They arent like full cork.... It's tough to describe but these bad boys wick moisture and keep you from slipping similar to the matco wittes but without that strange microfiber feeling. I like the matco's they are what lead to me getting these. Now that I have these I prefer them to the micro fiber witte's all day. The cork is damn near the perfect texture. They also clean up easier the screwdriver in the review was covered in hydraulic fluid a few hours prior to the photoshoot. Wiped them down and they look like new, well they are fairly new lol but worth a shot if you got some cash laying around.

And no the cork doesn't chip it's treated somehow, probably thru magic using german unicorn drool, but it's a tough driver as far as soft handles go.

Great, something else to try, and I haven't even gotten around to trying the Williams copies of the Snappy hard handles! jk

Nice review. I might have to give them a shot...

.... You will like these better ..... And I'm a snap on hard handle believer, but now only when I'm battling a screw in the land of goop and grime or something more bathroomish lol.

I'll probably give them a shot. I have big ol' Sasquatch hands, so hopefully, they will work okay...

I will echo your opinion. I have these at home and they are that good. I use the Matco variety at work and both are hard to beat. Well worth the cost

Look nice! Interested to see how the cork holds up over time with solvents, oil, etc.

Excellent, it is not cork "in the ****" on the grips. The cork is rubberized so you get the cork's unique texture while preventing the flaking, chipping and soaking up liquids that deteriorate organics. I honestly don't think these are much better for the environment than the next set of screwdrivers, but they are fantastic to hold.
