Almost a week ago I purchased the gearwrench 85988 XL set... WOW!!!! I needed a nice length mostly for alignments but the extra length is great (sometimes bad also) for many other jobs as well. The non-ratcheting box end is thin to fit in tight spaces that most wont.

BEST of all they are WARRANTIED by SNAP-ON so whenever one breaks... I wait for the truck to come around and get a new one!!! The SO ones similar to my set are about $100 more i believe!

Good job.:) OT will Snap On replace a tool with a mushroomed head (socket female end)?

use it as a press tool? haha. They don't have to because it obviously did not happen doing a job it was designed for but if you have a good relationship with your dealer and spend a lot of money with him sometimes they will take blatantly abused tools for you.

I have that set from 8mm-25mm and have already cracked the non-ratcheting end on 6 of the wrenches so far. They just don't hold up to the torque that the length allows you to make. Great wrenches when they work though! I am, however, currently looking for alternatives.

Does Snap-On even sell this type of wrench? At the time when I bought mine I couldn't find a Snap-On set that had a ratcheting end.
