I am new to the forum and mainly been reading and trying to get educated on what direction to go with a new project I have going.
My wife and I built an RV park and are finishing up our first building which is to be a Bathhouse. In the bathhouse of course on one half of it, it will have a full shower, toilet and sink. The other half will be two washers and two dryers.
No chemicals should be in contact with the floor except for water in the shower area and soap around the washers. Concrete floor and would like to epoxy the floor for a low maintenance flooring idea.
Any ideas, suggestions or advice on type of epoxy to use? Or does it matter? Probably specifically around the shower area where water is always an issue?
Thanks

Not really the type or name that will matter in this application. Recommend using extra antislip granules in a top coat and make sure it is sealed at corners and edges so no water gets under it. How big an area is this? Just one shower? Might want to check out sherwin or other and see what they have that is not garage tough. I got a two part epoxy from then that they special ordered for like 100 bucks. Gave me two gallons I used as a primer but in your case could be all that’s needed.

I'd recommend a coat of our BondTite 1101 primer followed DecoFlake broadcast into our BondTite 1115 clear epoxy and call it a day. Of course I may be a bit biased... ;-)

I have contacted two different Sherwin stores and well not much help there. Product knowledge is lacking and the stores I called. I read good things about Sherwin Williams and a local Epoxy company uses them as well. I did call Armorpoxy and got a few questions answered. Have been told it is not recommended to use Urethane in the shower area because of the water. Still researching and studying the product. I have a Bathhouse, a Pavillion, garage and part of a house to do.
thanks for the help

Sorry it was a sherwin Williams store. Product was from ppg and they were local retailer. Call ppg and see who distributes local to you. I used it as a primer but I was impressed for the cost. Sorry don’t have the numbers on it. What sq feet are you talking? Is the pavilion in sunlight at all?

Wolverine Coatings' BondTite 1115 is not affected by exposure to bleach and, yes, running a 4" cove would be ideal and is an excellent application for CoveEase 1901.
