My first Facom tools

My first Facom tools arrived today, kudos to Ultimate Garage for very fast service. Being in the auto parts business, I appreciate good tools, even though I don't use them to make a living. Very impressed with the looks and feel, looking forward to trying them out

I feel that Steve really knows his stuff, and he actually cares about customers and what he sells.

The last time I ordered, he was still honoring a Garage Journal discount on Facom tools. 10%? I either asked about the discount when I placed the order, or emailed about it, and provided my username, and received the discount in the form of a credit.

Lol, will post pictures tomorrow, they're at work and I'm not. I got a 1/4-1/2 metric set, 10 piece screwdriver set, and offset metric wrench set, 6-19 mm.

I got the same 1/2+1/4 set , it's very nice , will last you a lifetime

I'm not impressed with the facom screwdrivers though.

I have both the 1/4" and 1/2" sets from Ultgar and they are very nice!

Nice haul. I had a really hard time not snagging that 1/2" socket set that went up to 36mm for a buck fifty.

since my first set of screwdrivers in 2003 i swear by Facom. Great Warenty program an quality tools!

Living in Belgium I buy most of my facom tools used in auctions or second hand sites. Even then facom gives warenty!

I'm starting to drink the Kool Aid a bit now, ordered the ratcheting metric combination wrench set and two pair of the locking pliers (vise grip type). And the long screwdrivers

Were the new screwdrivers COO France or Taiwan?
I have a few of the French screwdrivers and they are great.
I cannot speak highly enough about Steve at Ultimate Garage,I have placed a few orders with him and everything went perfect !

The Protwist series are all made in France. The only drivers made in Taiwan are the bit driver handles.

Most of them are............some are 3 modules in width.
