Hi guys,
I just found your website while trying to learn more about my recent auction purchase, a Weaver WA-73 Floor Jack. After reading about the history of The Weaver Jack Corporation, I contacted Castle Equipment Company (current owner of Weaver Jack) and found out that my jack had been made in 1949. I believe it is complete. It functions well and once the caked-on grease is removed, it should be even better. It weighs over 200 pounds and has a lifting capacity of 8,000 pounds. What a hoss!
I like what I see on your website and plan to return often.
Thanks for giving me some space,
Indyrider

Welcome and when you get a chance, post a photo of the jack.

Thanks for the "Welcome". I've updated my profile and am attaching a picture of my Weaver WA-73 Jack. I'm also including a photo of my 68 GMC.
Thanks again!

Welcome from Northeast Mass. Love the old Jimmy! I had a 72 C/20 Chevy camper special in that color scheme. Came from North Carolina in 78 when I bought it. Had 12 hundreds on the back and 10 hundreds on the front . Handled the fiberglass Amerigo camper easily.

Hey Dennis,
I noticed you're located in South Central Indiana. This afternoon, I'm taking my 17 yr old grandson to Bloomington to talk to Admissions and take a tour of IU. Should be an enlightening experience and who knows, maybe we will find $100,000 along the way to help pay for it!

Here's a photo of the 68 GMC taken the day I bought it 10 years ago. It looked like it had not been driven in the winter...no rust at all. Paint chips had been touched up with a brush. It reminded me of an appaloosa horse

Empty Pockets has it spot on! Welcome to the forum, but remain cautious, as the power of suggestion is strong on these boards! I've certainly spent a bit of coin on cool stuff I've heard mentioned on here!

Cheers!
