Hello all.

I have been lurking on here for over a year to gain ideas and suggestions.

I decided on a 35X40 with a 16 foot lean to on one side. It has 14 ft. side walls.

I did all the dirt work, as that is my back ground. I beleive in a strong foundation so I wanted to start of correctly.

Here are a few pics of the construction and my first major purchase of "shop accesories".

I will be using the shop to maintain toys. Almost exclusively off road motorcycles. I compete in a multi state enduro circuit and the kids also ride.

So basically this shop is dedicated to anything on two wheels and will include a weld/metal working station.

Plans are for an epoxy coated flooring and some permanent workbenches on one side. Also there will be a man cave area complete with surround sound, large screen tv, desk, refrigerator and couch.

Right now we just completed running the water and electrical to shop. I am in the process of building out the bathroom. Electrical and flooring is the next step.

I will update this thread as I progress.

It was either two small Craftsman Boxes or this 96" Snap On. I got a great deal as my friend owns a Snap on Franchise.

I decided against spending $4K+ on epoxy flooring. I purchased sealer and some wax.

Place looks great, I like the lean-to on it. Who did you source the building through? Still can't decide whether to go for a pole barn or steel structure when the time finally comes. That looks like a really strong structure!
