I got my first Snap On tool box today! It's a KRL722 in Royal Blue with a stainless top. I work at an independent BMW repair shop, and I had quickly outgrown my Mastercraft box in a year and a half. I got a good price on this one since it was the demo box off the Snap On guys truck, and it came with the Stainless Top as well.

Anyways, here's a quick shot of it in the shop with the BMW GT1 on it.

I'll shuffle some stuff around and get it in a good place tomorrow. Now I just need to buy some organizers to clean up the drawers a bit, as my tools are in weird places and I'm not use to a double bank at all.

Great box. You are going to love it. Got myself the arctic silver version a few months ago. How much did you pay?

That box is perfect.

I used to be a red guy, but getting involved in BMW's and now my son in love with Yamaha, it's pretty much blue for both of us now. Just refinished his old red Cman to basically a Yamaha blue.

That box is perfect, I'd love to have one just like it!

Congrats. I have a green mica one w/ a stainless top. I love it. As others said, I have to agree the drawer config is great.

Very nice! I have an older KRL761. I wish they came out with the double full width drawers a few years sooner! A metal work surface is a must for me, no matter what kind of box it is.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm totally in love with this box.

It was the demo box off the Snap On truck, but if has one small dent, and a small paint chip that would only really be noticeable if you knew to look for it. I think normal retail for the box and top on the Snap On website would be almost $6k for the Stainless Top and the Cab, but I got the combo for $3500 plus tax.

I think down the road I may add the top chest, but this should suit me just fine for a couple years at least. A huge improvement over my Mastercraft box, and about twice as many cubic inches.

That is the exact box I was looking for. Found one on cl, went to look and the guy wouldn't take less than 3200 so I walked away (it's cl and needed to be a Better deal). The 722 is such a good drawer configuration would have fit my need perfectly.
While I continued to search I came across a 1032 with s/s top, drawer liners and guards which retails for over 11k. The 1032 was bigger than I wanted and he was asking 5000. Well the box was blue and I figured I could grow into it so I offered him 3500 and he delved it the next day. I love my so box and so will you, welcome to the masters club.;)

Congrats!!!

You will never regret stepping up and paying the money for a quality box.

I've got a Snap On KRL 1000 I bought 20 plus years ago with a butcher block top on it that I use almost every day. Snap On boxes rock.
