My first Snap-on Tool $3

Well when the price is right, who knows what I'll buy next. I went to an estate sale this morning and was 5 minutes late getting the door. Many were leaving empty-handed as I approached the front door. I hoped I wasn't too late. In the garage I found several hand tools displayed and it didn't appear as though anyone was buying them. So I started picking through the tools and found some interesting stuff to buy, but nothing compared to the swivel spark plug socket (13/16") marked $3.00.

And the rest is history. (see attached photos)

This is my first Snap-on tool in my 50+ years on this planet.

Those are not cheap; anything with a universal on it is expensive!

Well, to be fair to the truck dealers, that swivel spark plug socket SHOULD have been priced at a range of $25 to $40 in used condition, depending upon condition.

But apparently, the buyers AND sellers didn't have a clue as to what it was actually worth and I have benefited from their ignorance. I intend to keep this tool in my personal collection but have also been buying tools for resale on a new website (junkyardtools.com) that I am currently building. I'll let everyone know when it is completed if GJ graciously allows me to do that.
