hey there fellas,
so i am renting my very first warehouse in hopes that it is the next step towards opening a shop one day. the space is 1600-1700 SF. it is fully air conditioned which in South Florida its great! it has 2 small offices at the front and a half bath. i decided to make the back small office a computer / crash room and the front office a lounge space for guest and friends.
now for the work space. i need help / advice. i just moved in all my stuff and layed it on the floor cause i only have 1 table and a cabinet shelf. the work space is 2 regular car size wide with space to walk around and about 2 or 3 cars deep plus 1 space adjacent to the offices. that 1 space will be my parking space so to speak. so i was thinking of making the right wall (East) wall the tools, compressor, welder, jacks and stands ext wall. the rear wall (North) can be split in 2 with shelving to one side for parts storage and grinding, drilling, sandblasting ext station to the other. then i have space for 1 major project at the rear of the shop, possibly 2. and space for 1 or 2 other jobs just in front of them.
i really really need advice on tool storage and shop furniture in general. i am totally on a budget so i will improvise on any idea that is given or use my resources to make it happen. however something has to happen because i can not work with everything on the floors. i hope to get some great ideas from here that i can implement and show you guys pics later on. thanks in advance.
