Recently at one of the local Home Shows I met a guy who does Concrete Staining. We talked about my plans for my garage and to do the Quickcrete Epoxy stuff. He said he has seen that stuff come up under tires if you do not prep well. So after talking price with him (which was phenominal, a great deal!) I decided not to do the epoxy. Anyway...on to the pics.

That's a great looking floor...
In addition to what's been already asked, how does it hold up to fluids? So if you drop oil/etc on it, can you just wipe it up?

I've been considering a stain due to the welding work I do, but I also want something that's going to allow me to just wipe up drips and drops from the vehicles. I'd be interested in hearing how your floor handles that type of spill.

nice! what is the product and is it diy?

No it was not a DIY...I had a guy who does this for a living do it.

And the biggest questions.. how much did it cost and how long did it take before you could park a car on it again.

Look very nice!

It was $515. Finished yesterday so I can park on Sunday, but I think I will give it a couple more days to cure just to be safe.

Not good if you are planning on doing metal work or fluid work. One of the first questions he asked was what do you use your garage for? And I said to park our cars, clean them, and play Ping Pong! I have no lawn equipment in there so no gas or oil will touch the floor, which is good because gas can bring the stain back to active and when you wipe it off it will smear it. He said transmission fluid will hurt it too.
