It seams that every 3 weeks or so I post a free tool, I am thinning the herd. This time I have a Plvmb #2034 tappet adj. wrench. The pat. date cast into it is July 9th 1935. I would like this to go to some one whom has or wants a Plvmb collection. Not to see it on evil bay next week. So here is the deal. If you want this post that you are the first to ask for it here so every one knows it is spoken for. Then PM me your info so I can mail it to you. I would like just shipping for this...Here is a pic. Thanks Richard

Yes, you used it to adj. the Tappets, or lifter on the motor. You would put a socket on it that fit the rocker arm and then loosen the nut and turn the knob on top which moved a flat blade screwdriver to make the adj. and then tighten down the nut again...

It has been 3 days now, and no reply from Tweety420, even though he was online tonight. So I guess he has flaked out on me. So this is up for grabs again.

After 3 Weeks is it time to call some one a DEAD BEAT. Come on man, all I asked for was my shipping back, I gave the tool away. I guess I was right when I said he had flaked out on me. ****

Looks like he hasn't been on in a while. Got his email or home address? We can all email him or write letters to him calling him out.

The postage is less than 9.00, it is just the feeling of getting screwed. I should of known he was a flake when he didn't get back to me until after I had posted it up again to be given away. Thanks for the offer to help, but it is not the money, And Yes I sent he a email also plus P.M.s .Richie

Just felt I needed to let people know, next time it may be hundreds.

Next time limit your freebies to people who have 100+ posts.

Concur. The only buyers that have bailed after committing to purchase some of the tools I advertise in the GJ classifieds were junior members.

I have mailed a lot of stuff out before I got paid, It just upsets me. I have another pile of stuff to get rid of, and one bad apple had dampened my spirit. Oh well, like I said I wanted to make the GJ people aware of a possible DEAD BEAT. Have a great day..****

has anyone tried these tappet adj. wrenches on 90's hondas or 80's toyotas? Snap On used to have the 10 & 12mm ones with the knob being a black schrewdriver hard handle, now they are branded Blue Point.

If he stated he would pay the postage and you mailed it USPS, turn his *** into them. I don't know that it would be a tangible defined act of fraud, but he deserves it.

That's the thing, he did get it.

Oh wow!! Sorry, but I didn't read the entire thread. Thought he offered it to this ****** and he backed out for a free item.

This dude is a special breed of a$$hole. We need to get his cell # and send him 1500 texts letting him know of his character.

I emailed tweety again today asking for the postage. I see lots of people has looked up his profile. I was the second person to look at his profile when I sent him the tool. ****

So heres the thing. I don't want the spirit of your idea to be killed RC. I think what you've done is beyond spectacular. Its also a good way to help the younger "just starting" mechanics.

Having said that, whats the shipping, I'll pay it.

Hopefully in the future, recipients will understand its not a FREE item, its for the cost of the shipping.

cline, I made it clear, If you read this from the beginning you will know. I have had several offers from people willing to pay or help, It isn't the money it is getting screwed that bothers me. I shipped it in a small flat rate box for it was less than 9.00, so it is not breaking the bank. I just felt that I owned it to GJ to let people know, I would hate to hear some one sent him hundreds of dollars of stuff and got stiffed. Rich.
