Lol. I was referring to the background of the fore ground.
The pedistal with the motor thingy on it. Hint, they are not meant to be together

Dirtbike?

LOLZ>

I was doing a "where's Waldo" and counted 14 things in the backround.
Lots o wood trim and a shovel + the dirtbike or mtn. bike.

The black "Darth Vader" electric motor w/ exposed shaft mounted to the very imposing "pedestal of death", I have not a clue. Ha. :)

So as my signature states, I hereby spew worthlessness yet again.

I see a shovel and various trim. And a dirt bike tire. The other thing looks like a pancake air compressor.

The pedestal with the motor on it looks like a belt/disc sander combo missing pieces.

Omg. You night crew guys are killing me. I'll give you a close up pic but you have to be honest and try and figure them out before you turn to google for the answer. Both are kinda old.
The pedestal

Google brought a quick answer to what the pedestal is.

As to the motor I have no clue!

Ok the base Is one of these

And the top thingy, well, IDK. I was hoping you guys could tell me. If you can, you're smarter than Google. It is a Heston And Anderson Model 7 Serial #83.
A model 1 is a band saw, a model 6 is a jointer. But nothing comes up on a model 7. And it's for sure a 7 the tag is very clear.

That all said, when I bought them, I had no idea what I was buying. I gave $45 for the motor and pedistal. To be honset, I recognized the motor and bought it based off of that only knowing it was mounted to a very heavy stand. It was kind of tucked under a work bench in the shadows. From what I can tell, the base is pushing 100years old and in very good condition. I figure IF I was to sell it, I could easily double my money, but I think I'll keep it. It's VERY heavy and well balanced. The Dayton sander was an impulse buy. But knowing they are about $400ish new, I couldn't pass on $85. I'll likely resell it and buy a vintage Delta disk sander to go with my '50s King-Seeley belt sander. And the Delta 220 head, well I bought it from a Meth head for $10, just to save it from the scrap yard.

I made a post over on OWWM and found out the base with the motor goes to a table saw. I've only got about 1/3 of the machine. I didn't catch the date on an ad someone posted but I'm guessing 1930s-40s
