My future Project need advice

My Garage is 40x20x14 flat torch down roof with big blocks on all four walls. when I renovated five years ago I redid the roof and added some height was 10 feet high so maybe I can put in a lift in the future.. I also insulated the roof on the inside but the wall are left bear.. I was wondering is there a way to insulate the outside of the building? I do not want to frame inside and lose space..

Any Ideas or product I can look into?

If you have block walls, can't you use pink foam board and then stucko the outside. just a thought.

Are you talking about the thin pink board that is used behind Siding? do you know the R-rating on that? I suppose I could do that way..

Actually the best way to insulate a block building is to put the insulation on the outside.
That way the mass of the block absorbs the heat and gives a temp. stabilizing effect.
You can cover it with whatever siding is within your budget and neighborhood acceptance level.
I would go with the foam board, as thick as you can afford, with vertical strips to fasten the siding to.

Another option would be to use EPS foam and then Dryvit stucco finish.

I tap conned firring strips on the block, put white insulation between them and covered with foil faced OSB.

On top of the OSB went the vinyl siding.

I only used 3/4" insulation as I had the walls already insulated on the inside.

You would need to do a little more research, because I'm not sure if this is rated for outdoor use. However, I would consider this approach. Metal Z-Furring strip on the block. This allows you to get the insulation almost butted against each other. Then you don't have the width of the wood acting as a break between your insulation panels.

I was looking into this stuff early sunday

but was wondering if I used siding I would have nail strips of wood to the wall to hold the siding in place but would'nt take break the insulation between the wood?

Has anyone here use this wall insulation in the link above?
