My parents bought this property a few years ago from my uncle, it's where my dad grew up, where we house our equipment, and our bin site.

The garage it self was filled with old carpet, furniture, Seed corn, bulk tanks etc. I had asked if I could use it for a shop to do projects in, and I could as long as I would clean it up. So a few years went by and it looked like this.....

Well then I found this forum and the rebuild began....

Starting to insulate, can lights up. Originally I had melamine board on the north wall but it didn't cut it so drywall went up....

Drywall going up on west wall. It was my first time drywalling and it looks pretty bad but it did what I wanted it to! :)

Garage door got taken out, never did work as the front was smashed in and you needed a High-lift jack just to open it!

That's a great start! What else are you going to do? And you can always use that pond to wash parts in LOL

Well first things first, I need to finish up with the "Man cave corner" staining the carsiding and finishing up with the shelves on the left side of the picture. Then onto the ceiling with painting the rafters and building a "Cover" for the can lights. Finally finish up painting, install the sink, and onto outside work (Siding, shingles, ETC.)

As for the pond, I don't think the fish would like that!

Well the stain for it is going to be a light coat of Gunstock, the door and window are going to be trimmed in quarter-round!

The before shot looks like the garage was used for drinking beer and escaping the wife lol

Good luck with the hard work ahead

Well as of now 90% of the staining is done, the man cave corner is almost complete, and more pictures soon! I forgot in my last post to include a couple of pictures of the drive in speakers!

I like that old heating stove! Any idea how old it is?

So who talked you into the pond ... mom or significant other?

What kind of stove/furnace is that? Oil or wood fired?

The stove is a Heatrola coal stove, it has to be early 30's to late 40's era. There is a link at the bottom for a sales flyer I had found for it. It was taken out of the old house that was torn down on the place and put in the garage to have heat! We have ran wood in it for as long as I can remember, and as for the pond...Friends lot's of naging friends!

UPDATE: Finished the frames for the shelves on the south wall, ended up picking adding a compressor cabinet while I was at it.

Also bought a poster on ebay about a month ago, just got it out today.

And this is where I stand so far!

I should mention the countertop, picked the WHOLE thing up for 2 dollars! The lady screwed up, it was supposed to be sold for 2 dollars a foot! Kinda noteworthy.
