Thank you. :)

this building belongs to my parents. It is made of bricks. The inside it is covered with panels.
This hall was always rented to al small company, so I got a little office in it.
the man has gone out last year and since then I'll use it as a garage. the complete hall is 3 times as large

FJ432: Yes I think it is a Hazet. I found it on a scrapyard and paint it but before it was Hazet blue. and the chainsaws I need for the fire wood but actually I only use the stihl :p

Stihl, yeah baby!

I wish I could find an Assistant at the junk yard. I love your set up. We don't usually see that much room in a European garage.

Excellent garage Edward. I'm waiting for it to warm up here in Maryland, USA to start my build. Definitely loving how organized your shop is and may borrow some ideas for mine!

Cheers!

Is that an older jonsered chainsaw on your shelf. I am a big fan of those saws. I finally parted with my 49sp and got a 2250s. I wish I used it more than I do.

tknice: Thank you. :) I found gj.com a few hours ago and still surf on this page. I have a lot of new ideas now!

Hpozzuoli: no, The red one is a cheap saw made in china. The brand is called "Farmer" I have used it only a couple of hours but only had problems with it. There are 3 good brands that you can buy here in Germany. stihl, husqvarna and dolmar. Jonsered is very rarely here.

Welcome, Edward! Tell us about your motorcycles and your car!

Husqvarnas and Stihls are popular chainsaws here. Dolmar, I don't recognize, but I'm not into chainsaws.

German car fans here in the states love those Hazet Assistents! Just not the price.

Here is a little update of my garage. Last week i fixed this comperssor. it was produced in 1974 in the old DDR (east Germany)
It was over 15 years not in use because everyone said the engine is broken. but it was only just a broken power cable.

Now I want it to paint in the same colors as the rest of the workshop. blue and gray.

This shelf also gets the same color.

This is another project I'm doing next to my study. This building belongs to us for over 10 years. it was always a ruin. last year april we finally started to fix it. when it is finished we will have a party hall for weddings and Oktoberfest. And outside we make a large terrace which is open then every summer.

The last 3 photos are from today

Edward, welcome to the club.

I like your garage/shop, especially this section. This would be my hang-out place and I would get nothing done. :lol_hitti

Is the tab (Zapfanlage) fix installed and working, or just sitting there ?

Most metal-topped workbenches on GJ have a vise( I saw your other two) or welding provisions, but a beer-tap works for me! Just kidding, you know.

Thank you :)

at the moment the tab is not installed. I bought it from a pub together with a few more things. Most of it I want to use for the other building. But rixtrix1 the idea with the workbenche is also good haha

with this you can cool 5 beer barrels at the same time :p

yesterday I have found these lamps for my workshop

A update after a long time. Because my busy last study year and a other project I have not done much in my garage. But there is a little bit to show.

Last week I bought 18 of these lamps.

and I bought a nice birthday gift for myself.

I also found 50 boxes. they will be repainted in Makita blue

Greetings from Germany!

Nice garage/shop. I can't believe you are turning that nice old building into a wedding hall. When I look at it I see a hot rod shop. Perhaps you can partition some of it off for your own hobby space.

Love the build, I used to live in Bitburg. Just spent 3 months in Germany over the spring and summer. Did a few trips up Nurburgring for entertainment. I will say I'm gonna miss flying when I retire as I travel everywhere. It sure is nice to visit all the places I get to go.

Very cool to watch a house that would normally be demo'd in the states get some loving care and be re-purposed.

thanks a lot. The first plan was to demolish it to build a new building. But at the moment it is hard to get money. That's why I do plan B (without banks) now. the good thing is that I dont need a new construction permit and I like old buildings. At the Nürburgring I was in the summer too. during the 24 hours race. The racetrack is about 3 hours driving from my place.
I live in the west side of Germany close to holland where I am born 26 years ago. Since 2001 I live in Germany close to the city rheine.

A new update after a few months. this summer I'm finished my studies and did some work at home.

I put some new parts on my Yamaha. the fork and brakes are overhauled. all the filters and oils and a few more things.

(in the background you can see a car trailer. I have completely overhauled it)

the brakes I've cleaned with baking soda and boiling water.

The trailer has got some new wood

new tires and electronic

now everything works again.

(the wood I got for free. I want to make tables for the terrace with it)

then the turbo broke from my Audi 2.5 v6 tdi.

and I have repaired a Husqvarna WR 250 together with a friend

the clutch was very bad

I also bought a Skoda Octavia 1U 1.6 from 2000 for 150 euros. my parents have exactly the same model (my first car). this one I only use for some spare parts. the tires were good, the battery was new and the fuel tank was completely full.
It only had a small accident.

and I found a old traffic light.

in the next days I'll upload more pictures of my other project the party building to show the progress.

on photobucket.com i found some old pictures.

This was my first bike, a maico 400cc 2-stroke and i sold it :-(
