First few photos give you an idea of what it looked like when we moved in. This is after I cleaned all the junk out of it. A year later, I sheetrocked it, painted, and expoxied the floor. Unfortunately, the epoxy did yellow quite a bit near the doors.

Last month I ordered the Gladiator cabinets while they were on sale. I used a cabinet lift to help install them. Even with that, I still had to screw 2X4 ledger boards to the wall to line it all up correctly. Took about a week to install and then go through all my **** to try an get each cabinet organized in a way that made sense.

The motorized bike was built this year...and I hope to restore the John Deere 112 lawn tractor eventually. It was the one I used when I mowed with as a kid. It was 30 years old by then, but still worked well except for a little smoke.

Nice Job! Is there a story/theme that goes with the license plate collection?
They were my grandparents (going back to 1968). They were driving many years before that, so I'm not sure what happened to their earlier plates. Maybe Missouri required them to be turned back in prior to 68?? After my Grandpa died, my Grandma let me Dad take them, and I decided to give them a proper display. The rest are my own - Mostly from the last 10 years or so.

I scrubbed all of them (the best I could) with dish soap and pinned them up with large thumb tacks.

As a side topic on the license plates.... Does anyone know why they smell like BO? I mean seriously. And it's not just my license plates. I notice that smell on license plates in antique malls, swap meets etc... Very weird. Even after cleaning them, I can notice a slight odor in the garage - now that they are all hanging up.

The place looks nice and welcome to GJ.

I'll be moving this to the Garage Gallery Section and by the way, members are only permitted to have one account.

I have a ton from all over and only a couple stink, but those definitely smell like feet or BO. No idea why. Maybe different types of paint? The smelliest ones I have all came from Idaho, whatever that means.
