My garage renos, before and after...

Well, after 10 years in the house and the garage serving as our everyday in and out entrance with kids and all, I have been meaning to update it as this is my "Man cave " also where I spend time for my hobby.

It is 95% done with pretty much the toe kick to be done with tiles over the plywood so water is not an issue on the occasional washing of the care during winter. W have serious winters here.
Other than that a few more spaces to be dressed up, but I am already moving stuff back to their places. tools mostly.

I decided after a lot of consideration of floor options to go with a good garage tile. I believe in doing it once and right. It cleans easy, durable, and I love the look.
After contractor's discount, tiles cost me about 2.30 CAN a SF, and they are 8x8. Easy to follow the slant of the concrete.

Primed the concrete the night before with glue and a small about of cement mixed in order to give it a rough surface and thank God, all worked out ok.Took us a full day on a Saturday, and Sunday we did the gout.

Finally time to start building back my bench and fill out this time all walls with cabinets. No lost space again !
Had to do at the far wall some "cabies" for the kids and us for all the everyday clothes and shoes, and as you can see from all the other picks, made more drawers for shoes, hockey stuff for the kids and outdoor equipment.
