Here is a pic of my still under construction . 30'x30' with 12' ceilings. 18'x10' roll up door. I just started the insulation and drywall. The light fixtures are recessed in the walls. Planning on lights in the ceiling also. still have not finished the outside trim. How do I wished it was finished. Thanks for looking.

Cool shop dude. Mine is about the same size (28x32). I wish mine was 12 ft. tall though. Only 8 ft. here. Good luck finishing it out. Do you have a projected finish date?

The inside will be done in about two weeks. I am going to use the same metal on the ceiling that I used on the roof. Snow white color, with blown insulation. looking at putting a two post lift on the right side.

You'll have to post a pic of the ceiling when it's done, I want to do something to the 14' ceiling in my shop, but can't decide on what I want.

Do they make lift without the metal plate on the floor? I tend to prefer those simply because if you're walking under the car or rolling a trans jack you don't have to worry about bumping into the metal plate on the floor all the time.

They have a bunch of different syles of 2 and 4 post lifts, check out thier website for all options http://www.eagleequip.com/ . Prices are decent, but you can find deals on them all over.

I have an Eagle 7000 lift. Works great. It was not easy to assemble.

Heavy was the first problem, the tight fit of the sliding blocks inside the posts (it has to be aligned perfect to fit), getting the hydraulic ram in the right position, did I mention heavy

Like anything else the first time you do something there is a learning curve. I know now I could put up a second one in half the time with the lessons learned on the first one.

It is a great lift. No problems in three years.
