I have been looking around on the forum for a few weeks and I'm loving it! Here are a few pics of my work benches. First pic is my main work bench. Most hand tools are close by and I can repair most small items without walking anywhere. The vise is a Woden, made in England.

My Forney welder is in between the 2 benches.

Second pic is my welding bench. 1/2" thick top and 1/4" thick 2" legs, pretty heavy. I just removed the vises (generic to be destroyed welding) after seeing the 2" receiver hitch mounting idea here on the forum. This table was in the scrap pile at the CP Rail yard here in Winnipeg. My buddy worked there and I was able to rescue it. I also have a vise from that place at my farm - pics to follow of that monster!

This is an old cutting table I raised up, put on casters and welded tubes to hold 2 vises and 2 bench grinders. Chop saw and small scrap fits underneath as well. Chop saw sits on top at a comfortable height for cutting. Why I spent all those years kneeling on the floor to cut stuff I can't explain.

Here is a sample of one "thing" I've built. This is a bumper and snowplow mount for my 1992 Daihatsu Hijet. It is a 5' quad blade that I attached to the truck to plow my back lane, wife's business parking lot and anyone else that will pay me.

Thanks for looking, Ralph in Winnipeg
