I mean, I like it and it's somewhat well organized, but it seems like I have sh#t everywhere. This, plus I have a 20' sea can and 12' x 20' outdoor shelter for other "overflow" stuff.

When I see pics of sano, spacious, clean garages, with beautiful artwork deco I'm so jealous.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one

How do you get into the Caddy? I'd be deathly afraid of something touching it and messing up the paint.

Loving the garage though! Jealous of all your tool boxes.

Remove the beer and you'll have plenty of room to work :). It looks clean and tidy though.

The Canadian flag and the case of Ex are the only things saving you from the excess Americana! If you need more room, I'd suggest getting rid of the "Tony Stewart" tool chest!

I can't fit a car in mine. I'm jealous. Plus you have extra storage in another building and shipping container. You are living the high life!

If it displeases you, declutter it.
It's kind of simple.
Just get rid of a bunch of that stuff.

You do not want to see pics of mine. I can not get any vehicles in my current one (My truck wont fit anyway, even if EVERYTHING was removed)
I would love for mine to look like yours. Maybe once I build my new pole barn.

How do you get out of your car? You must be a really skinny dude....or dudette!

Glen

I suspect the car has been in winter storage mode for a few months and will continue to be so until the last of the Canadian road salt is washed off the road.

Looks good to me. Appears that you can easily get to everything without tripping over the types of "toys" (trike, wagon, etc) that grandkids store at grandma & grandpa's house. Looks like you can also park two cars in there.

Hmmm....I'm not sure you know what the word cluttered means. If you saw mine you would fall back in love with yours. I don't have room for hardly any decorations on my walls. Just sayin.

I think its your decorations. in your minds eye maybe you desire a "modern" look with all the same color and no extra.

Everyone has their own threshold for clutter. If you have crossed yours, get rid of stuff. I moved into a new house with a 1000+ sq ft garage. I spent months before the move planning and deciding how best to use this space. My goal was to put most stuff along the walls keeping the floor clear. That worked for a while...Things are now starting to creep inward. That's what happens. FWIW, I'd be quite comfortable in your garage.

You want to see some clutter? I park two of my vehicles and store some tools, carts and toolboxes at my other house about a mile away. I can park a small car in this garage, but not my pickup truck. Your garage looks very well organized. I don't think you need to worry about clutter.

That's what I was thinking too. Get rid of all the 'chotskies'.

That said, I think it's a cool garage. I wouldn't fret over what other people's garages look like.

Ragdoll, my garage is a downright disaster compared to yours...

Now that Spring is upon us I hope to get out there and get rid of the winter buildup of stuff...

Thanks everyone. I sure feel better. I guess the one poster who said it was "a working mans' garage" said it best.

Ive been a Vette guy for a long time. Late last summer I sold my 6th one, a 2011 GS. Found a nice low mile V and thought I'd try it. The idea being a touch more practical and still balls out fast.

The stuff beside it right now is just because the car is in winter storage mode. That's why almost everything I have in the garage is on wheels or "push friendly"

The shelter and sea can house outdoor stuff, a sled, snowblower, quad and basically anything else that isn't directly automotive related...

When's the garage sale? It looks like you have at least 2 of everything. Let me know I'm right down the freeway.:)

So how are you liking the V? Any mods yet? I sold a Z for my V, 14 sedan. Loving it after 2 yrs!

If I was the OP, I'd be sending a thank you to ricleh for making his day. That is most definitely a stuffed garage.

Well, you get 10 guys and those 10 guys will have 10 different ways to have their garage set up. Myself, I don't have a show garage but a working garage. Best thing you can do is go vertical start from ceiling down using shelves, totes and cabinets to free up some of your working space and put items now used up and out of way. You got places to park cars inside your doing good.

OP, your garage looks great, organized and ready to go to work on anything. I particularly like the tiny orange toolbox, haven't seen one of those before. Wish my county allowed a shipping container in my residential area, secure storage of that size would be excellent. I agree with you, non-automotive/shop related stuff should go out of the shop into alternate storage. One of these days I will build a shed and clear out my garage like you.

It's very well organized and set up for work, but I agree that the decorations are what make it seem cluttered. Try taking some of the signs and flags down and see if that changes the look.

I see too many different things. All the tool boxes are different colors and styles. All the different banners and wall decorations. I would say to pick a style and stick with it. If you look at the high end garage mahals or even the not so mahals, they have a definite style. I see old school car garage when I look at yours. if that's the look you're going for, run with it. Maybe pare down some of the stuff in the garage.

Ricleh's garage makes me think hoarder...sorry, dude.
