Here's my garage.

First pic is the original floor. Bought the house a couple years ago. The garage floor had settled a bit, and had them knock $3k off the price of the house to account for getting it fixed.

I didnt really know what i was getting into. First was the woodstove issue

Second pic is the woodstove in the basement. The flue pipe needed to be replaced ($$$) and it was a big ugly looking thing on the front of the house. I'm probably going to put a gas insert in there.

Third is the hole in the garage for the flue pipe.

forth is from removing the fireplace

fifth is the new form

sixth is me running the jackhammer.

the first three pics shows how far things settled. the concrete was actually suspended 10-12" around the edges. they had it pinned to the block with some rebar.

next pic is me and my daughter on the limestone.

moving the limestone in place.

and compacted limestone.
