Hey everyone,

I have been lurking around many different garage forums online for the last couple of years before I started building my own garage/workshop. I got lots of great ideas and advise, so I figured that I would share some of my experiences for people that are in the same boat that I was in a couple of years back.

Before I get started, let me say that I am posting this on a few different sites, so rather then copy and paste the content every time Ill just link to one site that allows me to host images and is free for all to view without even registering.

I am happy to answer questions... so feel free to post them. Ill try to get back here as much as possible, but if you post on the site that hosts the articles you will receive a faster response.

Finally, at this point late Oct, 2007... the project is about 95% complete so you won't have to wait forever to see the final product. I plan to submit a new article ever week until the build up is complete.

So, lets get started....

Part 1 - Introduction

Part 2 - Moving Earth

Part 3 - Foundation

Part 4 - Framing

Part 5 - Sub-Floor Heating System

Part 6 - Utility Closet

... more to come!

Thanks,

-JRW

Bib Overalls- Stay tuned... you will see a very cool but very large retaining wall with drainage built. If I put every last part of the build on here... you will see it perfectly landscaped with a pond with waterfall along with a pool and patio.

Ill try to get a few more parts up this week.

Thanks,

-JRW
