My garage is 22x 48' 8 ' walls. when I built it I wasn't into working on cars. Later I put the lift in the back stall. it is 12, 12 pitch the height realy hasn't been a prob. with smaller cars, (can't leave the hood up). I would like to change the over head door tracks so I could work with the door up. The upstairs is finished off to a small apartment, (3 stalls) but is used for storage. I also used alot of recycled lumber to keep the costs down. If I had it to over I would go with 10' walls an 24+ wide. Also at 12' per door is narrow opening car doors. I hope some of you might get some ideas from my layout. I have lots of outlets, 3- 220 lines (lift, jointer -planer, and compressor. Compressor is outside under at little lean to. No problems ever with that. 3 stalls for cars, 1 for woodwork and ebay packing.

That's a cool garage, one that would be the perfect to make it to be a personal space.
