I've been a member of this forum for over a year. I log on daily, but I don't post much. I finally had my son show me how to post pictures, so I want to post a few pictures of my garage. It is 24 x 24 and like most garages it gets used for a little bit of everything, so here it is.

first the automotive side:

My homemade service cart- a sears clearance intermediate chest and a 1/2 price utility cart:

The woodworking side:

My new project- a 1940's Sears Dunlop lathe I got for $15.00 at a garage sale:

Incredible! A multifaceted working shop for sure. Have to stay organized though but it looks like you got that under control too.

It would seem to me that it would be easier to take inventory of what you don't have rather than what you have! Great Garage!

Great looking space. I'm curious too as what is on the ceiling. BUT...you had better replace a couple of shelves where the jars are. One looks really bowed.

What's on the ceiling?

Looks like gatefold type magazine insert posters. Perhaps centerfolds.... I think we need a photo to confirm. :bounce:

Nice looking space for sure. I love the duality of it. I'd love to have the space for both.

Holy Sticker ***** Batman!!! I love it!
What a great shop with a place for everything and everything....with it's own sticker ;)

That lathe is scaring me already! Do you prefer cars or woodwork??

I'd like to thank everybody for the nice response. I realize my garage is pretty humble compared to some of the great garages on this site, but I've tried to do the best with what I have. The ceiling is just pictures of cars, as you can see my wall space is all being utilized, so I decided to decorate the ceiling. There is a poster of Danica that my son got at a race, but it's all pretty tame. I'd like a beer frige, but all of the electric is wired into a subpanel and the only way to turn off the lights is to shut down all of the power to the garage. To answer E-tek, I'm mainly a car guy, but I try to be a jack-of-all trades mainly to save money.

Great organization that I can appreciate. I struggle with that all the time, and I have not been nearly as good as you with my results. Looks great!

I'm glad everybody thinks I'm organized, I've worked hard to get it that way. We moved into the house in 1988 and its only been the last couple of years that I've had it anywhere near organized. It's still a work in progress. The RX-7 is a 1979, it has about 56,000 miles on mainly since it hasn't ran since 1987. Totally rust free body which is amazing for Ohio. I've only started to work on it recently, there's a story behind that but I prefer not to get into it.
