I redid my garage to restore cars out of for others

Here's the garage, about 98% complete.

View from the front

My compressor (5 HP, 60 Gallon)

Cabinets I built, except I had the doors made. Also some memorabilia.

The bookcase for my car books, they were taking up too much room in the house bookcase. There is many more I haven't found yet...it also doubles as bench support.

The fridge I painted with my business logo

My subwoofer (I love music) and side of a toolbox I painted before I went to school for auto mechanics (10 years ago)

The other side

The front, along with my homemade whiteboard... hope it works!

My air line, dryer, etc...

Hope you like!

Armstrong VCT tiles. After much reading on here, I found they met my needs. Well... that and I'm a sucker for the beauty of black and white tile!

12X24 garage. Came with the house, was just studded. I wired in a 100 amp service, installed the flooring, hung the drywall (had a friend finish it), built the book case and cabinets(some else built the doors), plumed the compressor, etc etc. I reshingled it with new soffit and fascia this summer as well as installed the 2 windows. All the outside needs is new siding and refinish the walk in door. Inside has a few more details, but is mostly complete.

Now, time to get it dirty!

Will do!

There is a lot of little details that don't show in the pictures. There are no drywall screws visible. Whether it's hanging a sign, clamps holding the copper to the wall, or the license plates to the bookcase, it's all nice stainless screws. The two tone line is perfectly level, so I can measure off of it whenever I need to level a sign or the like. The garage door button is a home-built piece, all of the ones you buy are too ugly for me. There is a light under the cabinets for when I need some extra light on detail work like rebuilding carbs. I had to notch the drywall on the ceiling since it's only 7' sidewalls and the garage door would hit the ceiling. I built aluminum boxes to cover the notches.

I'm going to have some more fun painting the entry door, but not quite sure yet what colors and such I'm going to do.
