I built this garage to accomodate an elevator for my son, so the elevator is inside the garage, from the garage I can go upstairs or downstairs.....

Welcome! Do you have any pics of lift? We have had a few houses growing up incorporating a lift for my brother to get from ground level to first level of the house.

Thanks Patrick. Looks like you did a good job enclosing it and making the garage still fully functional and efficient.

Nice house and garage. I hope you're not planning on burning down your basket ball hoop. ;)

Very interested in your elevator, we also have a 2 story house and in the future we'll likely have to consider one. My wife and I both have pretty bad
RA and the stairs keep getting harder and harder to go up and down.
If you don't mind me asking, about how much did the elevator cost and what
kind of foot print, square footage does it take up. I have a good spot to
put one, but like your's in the garage one here will invade my radio collection
displayroom.

Thanks a bunch.

Hi Ron, the elevator cost 16000$ including installation 6 years ago, it goes from the basement to the first floor with a stop halfway (garage)
