I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of months now so I figured I would start out by posting my garage.

I started this project right before my 20th birthday. My house is located in the cities so I was limited by city building codes but I was able to pull off what I wanted after being approved for a variance. The basic dimensions for the plan was 30'Wx34'Dx13'H

Some of the rubble from the previous garage which was located on the lot.

By the time the siding and shingles got installed there was snow on the ground. The project kind of stayed where it was until spring the next year. At this time the electrical was installed (200amp service), the insulation and sheet rock went up.

Fast forward a couple years this is what it currently looks like, please excuse the mess as I was in the middle of moving and cleaning up stuff when I took these pictures.

In 2-3 weeks a company will be coming in to install the lift that I have been patiently waiting to bite the bullet and have installed. It hasn't been the fastest progress, but now at the age of 25, I am young and have a ton of other expenses as well. My now fiance has been fairly patient with the money I spend on garage toys, especially as the money is almost nearly all a loss as I just play with cars as a hobby.

I will get some more pictures in a few days. I have been trying to get out there as much as possible lately trying to get some more cleaning done and starting to mask off to paint the walls a two tone color scheme.

The large toolbox is a matco box which houses all my higher end tools (Snap-on, mac, matco) and the other box is a craftsman industrial which has a whole mechanics set of craftsman tools. The large workbench I got a birthday present last year, it is a 8' wide craftsman with the stainless steel top. The cabinets and the 4' craftsman bench will be going soon as I am buying another one of the craftsman 8' workbenches.

During the day I am a mechanical engineer, I worked at a shop for about a year in high school as an apprentice before I decided to go into engineering.

SweetD, I am located in St. Paul, MN.

Garage turned out very nice. You've got some really nice toolboxes there. The garage looks like you'll have plenty of space for the toys!
