This ought to be mounted either up under the rack or to the side of it. It would save a little wall space that way...or you could do it your way :lol_hitti Great looking space though :beer:

I keep it on the left side under the rack!!! I just set it on the workbench to take a pic of it

That's a nice space, Rolling Thunder!

I like the computer cover, the coffee can storage, etc.

Question: How have you liked your wall-mounted Craftsman shop vac? My small Rigid works ok; though I suspect it's dying a slow death. I read the thread on here a couple weeks ago about wall mounted vac's and saw plenty I liked but I'm too cheap for most of them.

Ive had the shop vac for about 5 years now and it works great!

I like the idea for the nut/bolt sorter. I use old anti-freeze bottles with the side cut out. You can take the lid off and pour the small stuff out of the spout.

Another idea... sort the bolts, washers, and nuts by size/thread. That way you only have to go to one bucket when you need something of that size.

...consider the funnel idea stolen....

At some point I'd like to but I just dont have enuff of a supply right now!!!

How have I missed seeing this topic before ? haveing read about the computer in another topic I see some fantastic ideas. Your use of timber is just very clever. I have plastic oil containers cut so I can use the handle for my bolts and screws etc. but to sort them I have a cut off square oil drum. Your ideas are very clever and very well done.

Not sure how you missed it. :headscrat Just dont let it happen again!!!! :D:D

Oil containers are a good idea! The coffee canisters do have handles formed into then so carrying them is easy!

Thanks I really like fabricating my own stuff! Its usually a lot cheaper then buying manufactured things!!!

I am going to blame it on some of the forum upgrades recently as I do not miss much here. :headscrat

I have a wooden rack on the wall and the oil containers fit perfectly. I suppose it is how you see something and how it can be (re)used:thumbup:

I agree 100% and from that you get something you know will do exactly what you want it to do. ;)
