my getaway garage

Hi everyone, First I just want to say that this site is awesome, a great resource and great for inspiration. There are alot of very nice garages and shops on here.

My garage is about 4 years old. It was built by the previous owner about a year before I bought my house. When I bought my house the garage was a filthy sloppy mess. It is a 24' x 30' pole building with a 12' x 30' covered car port on the side(which I plan to enclose).

I have been working on the garage for about the last 2 years trying to improve it.It all started out with a simple work bench and a few tools, then more and more. Its nothing too fancy, and alot of work gets done in it. So take a look at my getaway garage.

As for the grinder stand, it's just 4" square stock welded to an I-beam with a rubber mat underneath . It really works out great.

The stove in the picture is a Buck woodburner, it does a very good job keeping the garage heated in the winter months.

What looks like a rotted off post is old woodburner pipe that was rusting to pieces, it has since been replaced.

I made the flames by cutting out some stencils on cardboard and then just airbrushed them. I am really happy with the way they turned out.
