Went down to a commercial light bulb store this afternoon and purchased three bulbs that fit! WOO HOO... It really loos great and gives off a cool effect. I also installed casing around the door. I got a call this morning the Work bench will be here tomorrow afternoon. It's ALMOST done! I still have a few things still to do though. I also patched the walls in a few spots. So I need to go around and do touch up paint tomorrow.

High output Florecent the type with the black plastic connectors 33". I had to go to a commercial Light bulb store to find them. I bought it off ebay. The guy had a mint sign for sale big $$$$ and he gave me a good deal on this one. It really has the WOW factor it had 3 wires and fired up like a champ. I wired it to a switch.

Looks sweet.. Those Gulf signs fetch a good penny...even on eBay. I missed a 28" one last year for $85.....can you say snoozer??

There was a guy at one of the local auto swaps last year that had just the acrylic lens, no electrial, no frames. Any size...$40. I picked up two nice 76 lens and a Texaco Star lens. The lens rub out nicely with rubbing compound to really make then shine. I framed each and wired in two 18" bulbs and sold one 76 and the Texaco Star. The other 76 is currently in my garage. Hopefully he'll have some more this Oct, maybe a Gulf...

Thanks guys the Gulf sign is one of my favorite things in the garage. It sure does look cool when the lights are off and you can see the glow against the car from the patio.
