I ran across this Hossfeld at a garage sale last Saturday, so I naturally just grabbed it, it was a dang good price. However, never having seen one in the wild before I did not recognize at first that it is the smaller, discontinued #1 model,not the more common #2. Just found that out today when I went out to the garage to take a good look at it.
I don’t have any other tooling for it and from what I can find there’s nobody making any for these smaller models any more. I assume they will be even harder to find than the#2 tooling so what I’d like to know is if there are ANY dies/tooling from the #2 that WILL fit the #1? From what I’ve read most of them will not. I’m sure I can probably make some of them myself but not the ones for round pipe unfortunately.
Anyway here’s a pic that some of you have already seen over on the garage sale thread.
A couple of the pieces are a little bent so I’ll have to straighten them somehow (the ring gauge thing for setting the stop and that little piece of round-bar).

Too bad, but maybe I can still use it as long as I keep the stress on the other side of the block. Anyway these are simple to make if I need to.
