I was bored one day and decided to take on a silly project: A mini hot dog grill.

Here are some pics:

The rack is the handle for the lid. It's hollow in the hopes it won't get too hot to the touch.

I went to Lowe's and got some barbecue pit paint. Withstands temps up the 3000 degrees or something ridiculous like that. Good flat black paint.

Nice ! I like it ! Perfect for track side grilling and room for
some diablo shrimp TOO :D

I didnt notice any vent holes - for heat control.
some removable legs would be sweet !

Tack some Tube on the sides and then insert the legs in the tubes
Keep the removable legs inside (when not in use).

If you ever get tired of hotdogs you can use it as a small tool box :D

I agree with everyone else, that is pretty sweet. Are those forward controls in the 4th picture? At a first quick glance I thought they were handles or something for the grill!

Yep, those are my forward controls for my bobber I'm building. They are mounted now, but at the time I was messing with the grill project, they weren't mounted. The holes didn't line up with my frame so I had to drill them out a little.

I did end up with some vent holes on the side of the grill by accident. I ran out of material so the sides don't go all the way down, so in essence, they are accidental vent holes.

Here are a couple of pictures of my "screw up" that resulted in vent holes. I was going to drill holes in the top that I could cover up to control heat, but ran out energy for this silly project after the sides didn't line up right. But, vent holes nonetheless.

And here is a slanty picture of my Bobber with those forward controls mounted to the frame:
