My Introduction.

Hello and good day to everyone! New member here. I have been looking at threads on this site for a while. Actually, since I got on this vintage Craftsman tool kick a couple years ago. I decided to introduce myself today and hopefully one day be able to contribute some useful information here.

I retired from the military in 2016 and now work as a Program Director at a local community college. I have many hobbies and very little time for any. Some of those hobbies are wreck diving, firearms/reloading, collecting tools and playing around with my Mustang and Taurus SHO.

Thank you for both of those links! I was just looking at some vintage screwdrivers. I'm putting together a mechanics toolbox for our youngest since he has graduated HS and the Lineman program at our CC. Instead of luggage, I figure some good tools would serve him better.

Hey Michael, I was US Army Infantry. I also jumped out of airplanes(some helicopters too). Loved my time in, but that is a young man's game and I am no longer a young man.

And thank you for yours. I see you're in AL. My last duty assignment was at Benning and I had a place across the river in Phenix City. Alabama is a great state for military retirement that I had considered staying there instead of coming back to North Carolina.
