I recently made a thread which ended in me considering building a mobile case to house my Picoscope. I got all the parts in this week, and made it up this evening.
I purchased a bulkhead kit from Jarhead Diagnostics. I previously heard rumblings that Jarhead and Warwick based out of the UK were affiliated. I can at least confirm that the leads from between the scope and the bulkhead connector are Warwick parts. I was generally happy with the fit and finish of the bulkhead plate and the supplied BNC connectors from Jarhead. I purchased a pelican 1400 series case to use as the basis of the project. When I spoke with Jarhead via email they confirmed the dimensions of the 1400 series case were adequate, but implied they themselves had seen more applications using the Harbor Freight version of the cases. I think the brand is Apache from Harbor Freight.
The project involved drilling some holes, and fighting with the absolutely mind-bogglingly frustrating Pelican foam. It is only scored in the vertical Direction, so trying to cut a section out to be flat is extremely difficult. For the USB connection to the laptop I drilled a hole in the case to allow the Pico cable to exit. For removal of this cable, one would need to remove the grommet I placed in the case to prevent rub damage. However my scope pretty much always lives with the USB cable attached so I'll just curl it up and lay it on top when not in use.
