Just wanted you to take a look at my latest project. I think it's pretty cool looking.
One thing about this project is the amount of time it takes to do a job like this in
a small one car garage. It gets so crowded up you spend more time looking for the
tools you just had.. It made me realize just how critical it is to have a well managed
tool storage system. I think I spent more time looking for stuff than actually building
the furniture.

Just completed and installed.

She wasn't real happy with me for taking up all "her room".

Wood prices have gone up a lot it seems. The material for all 6 pieces
was just a little under one thousand bucks for everything from wood to
clear coat.

That will definitely help you get good work done, good storage and surfaces.

I can relate to your feeling "pinched" in your small garage shop. In my shop everything is on rollers and gets all stored together, and it has to be rolled apart whenever the tools go into use. Sometimes you feel you spend all your time arranging.
