So I went off the deep end and purchased one on Friday. I got the Base kit, a bottle of 75/25 (purchased the bottle and gas) and a few other things. Price come out to $1400 after tax. I got it setup on Saturday and run a few beads with it. I must say I am loving it and the controls have been real easy to learn so far. Here is a video someone did in December;
She welds beautiful I am just gonna have to fine tune my wirespeed and gas settings.
Here she is in all of her glory on a harbor freight cart I modified so the welder would fit right (power cord was pressed up against the bottle and I was concerned it would mess it up plus the fans are back there and I want it to be able to breath)
and last we show you a weld. I set it for 12 gauge for some reason and then proceeded to weld on 1/4" so it made a pretty tall weld. I still got good penetration though.
No cleanup on that, there was one small BB of spatter.
