Also installed a 150w LED Floodlight from eBay, seems to perform fairly well. I set it up on a Sonoff 4ch Wifi switch, so I can turn the floodlight on from the house or anywhere I like, or trigger it from other sensors later down the track.

Still haven't put the slab down for the tank yet, as there's some plumbing to work out that I want to incorporate in the same slab. Hopefully I can get it done soon before the rains come...

Ahh, that's a pain! I like the Sonoff 4ch switch because it still has manual controls on the unit itself, and the app can see the On/Off status of each switched channel.

So on Saturday we got the last of the floor sanding/grinding done and the first coat of Epoxy down! Went with a Flowcrete Epoxy in a light grey which we will finish with a Polyurethane final coat this afternoon.

2nd coat applied yesterday afternoon, looking really well covered now!

Excited for the final result today, and can't wait to actually start getting permanently set up down here!!

We have postponed the final coat until wednesday as there's a few areas that needed to be sanded / denibbed before the final coat. The final coat is a polyurethane which should provide good durability as well as being glossier and more UV stable than the base epoxy. I'm definitely excited to see the finished result.

The final coat of Polyurethane is down, and I'm stoked with the resulting finish!

Michael de-nibbed the previous coat with his PolyVac and got rid of a few inclusions before putting down the last coat.

Drove some cars in on the new floor! It has been 6 days since the final coat and the leftover product in the tins is rock hard. I don't think there's any risk of damaging the coating now

Cool, Tamworth is a pretty convenient place to live, has most of the things you need and still easy to get around quickly. I like it here!

The floor is fully cured now, so on the weekend I had some time to start putting up my hoist!

Got the columns basically in place to get an idea of how it all fits, and I'm pretty happy with how it's going to work out

Well I made use of the long weekend to get my hoist bolted down and assembled! I wasn't happy with the idea of using 3/4" DynaBolts to secure it so I used M20 x 260mm Chemset anchors and high-strength Chemset. It won't be going anywhere... LOL

Also got my toolbox moved down from the old shed, what a mission to move it. 260kg empty, no idea what it weighs full, but let's just say "A lot!"

Scott came and wired up the isolation switch for the hoist, just awaiting the 3 phase meter to be installed for it to be operational.

Thanks, I decided that I wouldn't be likely to do any damage to it where it is located up against the hoist baseplate. If I find that it is subject to damage I'll make a more substantial cover for it.

Thank you! The floor definitely met my expectations, and mopping up spills is really easy. I spilt some hydraulic fluid when filling the hoist and it was no problem at all to clean up.

Finally got the 3-phase meter installed at the house after a 9 month wait. ****** metering company stuff around.

So the hoist works! I'm stoked. My whole shed concept was based around wanting a hoist to begin with, and now I can finally do all the projects that I've been wanting to.
