Lee, you have a wonderful museum (I mean shed) there. I've only gotten through the first ten pages of this thread but plan on getting through the rest. I just wanted to tell you that you have another follower.

Sorry to hear mate. Taking some time out is more than fair enough, but sounds like you're past the worst bit. Still a long road ahead, but sounds like you're tackling it as best as you can.

Hi Hewey, Definitely something i didn't expect but i think the outcome has been ok, just need to get my motivation back for the shed and all should be good.
Cheers

Great to have you back, and I look forward to what you have to share in the future.

Lee, I take that you still live in and have the same shop and home? Ready to see more picture of that one place that's a museum and bar?

So my plan was today to upload a heap of pics and tell a few stories but after browsing through the pages i ended up finding other threads that got my attention and i wondered off a little, there are some great threads popping up everywhere on here and i need to find some more time to enjoy this place.

So i just got back about a week and a half ago from the States and only attended one swap at Las Vegas, knowing i wasn't able to get things down to the container i decided on purchasing some small items only, but as always the way i could of spent a lot of money on some great buys if things were different.
I leave again on Saturday for a 3 week stint and this trip will hopefully see a few items coming back in the container.
So after the breakup the first thing i did was purchased a new work ute and also a new weekend car as i felt the van wasn't really my style.

Then it was time to get the value into the property so i could remortgage the place to buy Sarah out and transfer everything into my name.
Downstairs was a major job that i decided to tackle first.

I already had the tiles and was always planning on doing it this theme, it was the second time i had ever tiled, the first being a total of 8 tiles in my toilet area so i was a bit worried, i had a mate stop over to help the first day and after that i went to town on it.

I also decided that instead of having the house renderred as the first attempt failed with the flooding issues that i would change my approach, i decided to use Blue board and instead i purchased the 5" masonry blades and i attached it to a circular saw and ripped the sheets into a 350mm wide board to give it a modern look on the outside as well and it would only require painting instead.

The majority of this will be torn down for the extension that i have planned but i needed it looking it's best for the remortgage which is a pain in the you know what.

I will hopefully load up some more pics of my swap meet scores before Saturday but this will give you a small idea of what i have been up to since being off line.
Thanks for looking in Guy's.

Well just read this whole thread in one go. Was a great couple hours. Won't say anything more about the lows as every one has well and truly covered it but all you can do is look up and just keep pushing on. That's my motto.

Lee, man that all looks great. I was wondering about the term "blue board"? I take that it is a cement type board? Here in the U.S. I think we call that by the mfg. name of Hardie board. Made by James Hardie co.
It sure makes the home look very nice and modern. Bet the X wished she took you for more:D Not really!
Waiting to see all the treasure's you bought, bet you found some cool stuff. You have a good eye for cool stuff!:thumbup::thumbup:
