I built this a few years ago. It has a 32x56 floor downstairs...and an 1,100 square foot loft which has been finished out as a game room for my boys. I'll post a few more photos.

awesome place! Some of the trees look like they are really close to the house. Are you worried at all about them falling on the house?

Trees in the mountains are part of life. In NorCal we have to worry about fire. I keep all my trees cleaned up...and the ground clear.

In fact, we had a severe windstorm last week with 70-120 mph winds...which is VERY unusual...it snapped off the tops of trees and blew down a lot of trees around here. I usually don't worry about them falling...anything that is leaning...I take out.View attachment 416560

Nice work. I really like those workbenches and plan on building the same type for my shop. Any chance you might post some close-ups of them to show how they were built?

I mounted them from above. Used earthquake foundation tie downs...wraped over the top of the railing joists. Threaded rod 5/8 and hung electrical track for the frame. Flat and adjustable. I keep plywood sheets and log stock up there. Works great.
